The Paramedic Nursing, Bachelor’s Degree at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences is a bilingual programme that leads to dual qualification as both paramedic nurse and registered nurse. The degree meets the requirements of the EU Directive (2013/55/EU) on professional qualifications, the national criteria, and the European Qualifications Framework (EQF level 6). Studies begin in English with no Finnish requirement, and Finnish is gradually integrated throughout the curriculum. Learning takes place through classroom instruction, clinical skills labs, simulation environments, and extensive placements in authentic healthcare settings. By graduation, students are equipped to work in Finland and abroad in diverse healthcare roles.
