The Industrial Design Program offers a strong foundation of knowledge and skills so that students can enter this diverse industry as an apprentice. This intensive program teaches students the core subjects they will need in the field of industrial design; design, materials, manufacturing techniques and processes. Students are introduced to the awareness, understanding, ability and application learning with a concern for environmental and disability issues., This program includes a practicum placement. This experience within a workplace enables Instructional staff to observe the student in a practice situation while providing the student with the opportunity to gain direct exposure to the chosen career field., Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will be able to demonstrate, Understanding the design and documentation process, critical thinking and solutions in relation to the building systems and cost disciplines, from creativity to relatability to develop and master the necessary skills in freehand and digital drawings, visual presentation techniques and communication skills that are the essential tools needed, Application of all learned knowledge For a balanced and integrated design to the building system.
