The Mechatronics specialization in engineering provides you with in-depth knowledge of structures for devices, equipment and systems which are essential part of our modern lives.
Mechatronics engineering is a multidisciplinary branch focusing traditionally on the engineering of both electrical and mechanical systems. The focus in our degree program is on machine automation. The modern concept of mechatronics includes a combination of automation, robotics, smart operating devices, and hardware-oriented programming as well as controlling systems and mechanical engineering in order to produce design solutions unifying the subfields and to create smart systems.
In SAMK‘s laboratories, the student has the chance to experiment, as we believe that in order to learn you need to be able to see, to feel, to make mistakes and to find solutions. You need to plan and execute projects, you need to be able to sell your ideas and you need to be able to work in a multidisciplinary team of experts.
