Students today who aspire to become professionals in the industry, need to understand nutrition, culinary artistry and menu planning amongst other things. Our culinary arts degree program prepares students to address all aspects of the kitchen and meet the challenges of an increasingly sophisticated and demanding culinary industry. In addition to subjects such as Culinary Essentials, Garde Manger and Basic Patisserie, students will also undertake subjects such as Corporate Social Responsibility, Entrepreneurship, Hospitality Marketing and more. All courses are taught by professional chefs who have a strong presence in the culinary and hospitality sector and are masters of the industry. The course is designed to equip the students with a complete knowledge and skills ranging from basic culinary science to professional restaurant management and operations.
