Humber’s Bachelor of Commerce – Management Studies degree program prepares you to take on a variety of managerial roles in many different types of business. The program is based on the seven traditional management functions (planning, organizing, staffing, directing, co-ordinating, reporting and budgeting) and gives you the necessary skills and knowledge to: develop business strategies, analyse issues from various perspectives, apply classroom work to industry-connected projects, integrate transferable skills such as interpersonal interaction, communication and organization to all classroom and project work. Analyse the impact and long range global challenges of economic, environmental, ethical, legal, political, sociological and technological factors upon the strategy, management and behaviour of domestic and international organizations. Analyse, evaluate and solve international business and economic problems, using diverse economic frameworks and relevant business models, creativity, analysis, independent judgment and critical self-awareness. Formulate international business strategies that assess costs, benefits, risks, opportunities, and that address organizational goals and external trends.
