Prepare for a leadership role in the manufacturing and services industry with an operations and supply chain management bachelors degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Work with local businesses; participate in competitions; study abroad; and strengthen your communication, teamwork, project management, financial literacy and troubleshooting skills. Through unique, real-world projects, our expert faculty will challenge you to critically evaluate alternative process designs as well as identify the purpose of each element of the production planning hierarchy. Accredited by AACSB, the operations and supply chain management major will prepare you to immediately enter the field upon graduation. Graduates are required to pass one of the APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) examinations. This achievement proves your knowledge of — and competency within — operations and supply chain management practices and demonstrates your ability to do your job well. Because of the programs strong reputation and history of producing successful grads, a number of local organizations look to hire UW-Eau Claire grads — both for internships and professional jobs.
