The Political Science program at Marshall University offers a diverse curriculum, providing great students like yourself the opportunity to take courses in domestic and international politics, political theory, and public administration/public policy. We work with our great students to develop strong analytical reasoning skills, quantitative and qualitative methodological literacy, and fluid writing, which can be applied in whatever professional setting you choose.
Our Political Science program helps students understand the way ideas, interests and institutions all intersect to influence our daily lives, whether in West Virginia or internationally. The program takes a deep drive using the constitution as a basis for not only political thought in our country, but how we as citizens live and work together. Then, the program gives students the tools to navigate within this system to be successful, whether one is employed in the public or private sector.
You must have successfully completed an United States Year 12 (or equivalent senior secondary school qualification) Equivalent qualifications may also include a recognised post secondary diploma in the relevant discipline with the required grades.Meeting the minimum academic requirements does not guarantee entry. Your application will still need to be assessed and accepted. If you dont meet the entry requirements, there may be other programs you are eligible for that can lead you to your preferred program.
