The University offers a bachelor of arts (B.A.) and a bachelor of science (B.S.) in elementary education. The Elementary Education Program prepares students to be general classroom teachers at the elementary grade levels. This program leads to a generalist teaching license at both the primary and intermediate elementary grades (K-6). Coursework includes professional education courses, along with Foundational Studies and additional subject matter requirements.
