The Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communication Studies degree program helps students develop practical skills to connect effectively with others at home, in the workplace, in society and around the world. Communication Studies majors develop a sound theoretical foundation in communications and an understanding of the latest tools and resources to advance content and messaging.
A bachelor’s degree in Communications Studies prepares Marshall graduates for the widest range of positions across the professional landscape—career opportunities in state and federal agencies, nonprofit organizations, corporations, healthcare entities, and more. Marshall students who are interested in seeking advanced graduate studies will be well-prepared to move on to Marshall’s MA in Communication Studies program or other disciplines.
