The Interpersonal Communication concentration is intended for students seeking personal enrichment and/or futures in service industries and institutions, the professions, or graduate work in communication. The Department of Communication Studies offers three different undergraduate concentrations in Communication Studies: Interpersonal Communication, Organizational Communication, and Public Communication. Course syllabi are available on the Resources page. Students choose from a variety of courses to complete their major or minor in Communication Studies. The department is also home to a chapter of Lambda Pi Eta, a communication honor society, and the Communication Studies Student Association (CSSA). The Interpersonal Communication concentration is intended for students seeking personal enrichment and/or futures in service industries and institutions, the professions, or graduate work in communication. The Organizational Communication concentration is intended for students seeking communication roles in organizations, industries, corporations, and/or government institutions, as well as graduate work in communication. The Public Communication concentration is intended for students seeking public roles in the legal, political, and/or other communication settings of democratic society, as well as graduate work in communication. The Health Communication concentration is intended for students seeking professions in health and wellness-related fields, as well as graduate work in communication.
