This course at Lincoln is a theoretically oriented critical studies degree, enhanced by opportunities for creative and professional development. It gives students the opportunity to undertake practical work, enabling them to deepen their understanding of the critical issues and key concepts of the discipline. The course is taught by research-active staff working on a diverse range of topics, including the documentary, heritage cinema, childrens film and TV, representations of difference, Hollywood, and marginal cinemas. Meanwhile, practical modules are delivered by active media professionals using industry-standard facilities and equipment.
You must have successfully completed an United Kingdom Year 12 (or equivalent senior secondary school qualification) Equivalent qualifications may also include a recognised post secondary diploma in the relevant discipline with the required grades. Meeting the minimum academic requirements does not guarantee entry. Your application will still need to be assessed and accepted.
