Agricultural production is critical to feeding the world’s population. Lincoln Universitys Bachelor of Agricultural Science (B.Agr.Sc.) addresses the demands for farmers and primary producers to meet the requirements of international markets, including the European Union’s expectation for food to be traceable from paddock to plate.Lincoln has played a fundamental role in training managers, researchers, consultants and employees in the agricultural sector for 140 years. Our graduates have a reputation for hitting the ground running because our qualifications are applied and relevant.Real-world examples are integrated into the teaching programmes through case studies, field trips and tours. You must also do a period of industry-based work experience as a requirement of the agriculture programmes. The Bachelor of Agricultural Science can be awarded with Honours. This pathway is open to students who have completed their sixth semester (normally third year) of study and passed all courses at a sufficently high standard (B average in last two years of study).

Around 7,000 students are enrolled at Albany. This campus has grown since then and an on-campus accommodation facility opened in semester one 2015.
