Talk to a counsellorWe’ve designed the first Year of this course to explore the principles of economics. At the same time, you’ll start to think about the global business environment and look at how to handle data. Before starting your second Year, you’ll gear your learning towards the BA and BSc route. This will influence whether you focus on the statistical or policy side of economics. Whatever route you take, you’ll develop advanced analytical skills and the tools to interpret data. Beyond the core modules, you can tailor your learning to your interests and career goals and you’ll be able to pick from a range of options. In your final Year, you’ll put your data handling skills to the test for your dissertation. It’s completely up to you what you explore.
You must have successfully completed an United Kingdom Year 12 (or equivalent senior secondary school qualification) . Equivalent qualifications may also include a recognised post- secondary diploma in the relevant discipline with the required grades. Meeting the minimum academic requirements does not guarantee entry. Your application will still need to be assessed and accepted. If you don't meet the entry requirements, there may be other programs you are eligible for that can lead you to your preferred program.
