Talk to a counsellorStudying BA Philosophy, Religion and Ethics at the University of Birmingham allows you to address issues and questions of the human condition, thus developing your intellectual curiosity and understanding of critical issues at the borderlands between philosophy, ethics, theology and religion.You will have the opportunity to tailor your programme and focus on the areas of each discipline that interest you most. In your second and final years, you have the option to focus your studies more on theology and religion or philosophy and ethics, depending on where your strengths and interests lie. Whatever you choose to specialise in, you will graduate with well-rounded skills in debating and reflective thinking. The departments of Theology and Religion and Philosophy at Birmingham are both ranked within the Top 10 in The Complete University Guide 2020.
You must have successfully completed an United Kingdom Year 12 (or equivalent senior secondary school qualification) Equivalent qualifications may also include a recognised post secondary diploma in the relevant discipline with the required grades.Meeting the minimum academic requirements does not guarantee entry.
