Talk to a counsellorDo you wish to understand the challenges facing us at a global level? On this course, you’ll develop the skills and knowledge to become a world citizen with a global and critical perspective. The course combines two distinctive yet complementary approaches to the question of developments at the global level: studying International Relations, you’ll analyse global structures by exploring their history, the nature of the global economy, and build a particular focus on the themes of war and security, studying History, you’ll focus on global history, and the ways that different regions of the world are connected through the movements of people, goods and ideas, through trade, shared transnational cultures, migration, and war and conflict. Sussex has pioneered the historical study of international relations and developed new approaches to history, making it the ideal place for you to explore contemporary global issues.
You must have successfully completed an United Kingdom Year 12 (or equivalent senior secondary school qualification) Equivalent qualifications may also include a recognised post secondary diploma in the relevant discipline with the required grades. Meeting the minimum academic requirements does not guarantee entry. Your application will still need to be assessed and accepted. If you dont meet the entry requirements, there may be other programs you are eligible for that can lead you to your preferred program.
