The Associate of Science in Biomanufacturing Production degree continues to build on the courses taught for the Certificates ofProficiency and Achievement to prepare graduates to work in the biomanufacturing/pharmaceutical industry as technicians. Studentswill learn how to operate and maintain the equipment used to manufacture protein pharmaceutical products, culture bacterial,yeast, and mammalian cells and recover the proteins that those cells produce. Students will follow good manufacturing practices bymaintaining records in order to comply with quality assurance procedures and government regulations.
