Learn to create safe, respectful, and supportive classroom environments in our 15-credit Advanced Certificate in Student Behavior Management program. Prepare for the challenges presented by children and adolescents with academic, behavioral, and social problems. The dynamics of academic, career, and social -emotional development among PreK-12 students, the impact of student behavior classroom function and learning, solutions to positively impact student growth, practices that increase student safety and well being that meet the requirements of New York State Project Save legislation. After beginning the certificate program, you may later apply to the Master of Science in School Counseling. Successful completion of certificate courses (3.0 GPA or better) will be applied to fulfill the master’s degree requirements.
