The Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) is a privately owned and operated, not-for-profit organization that provides national accreditation to post-secondary education institutions. It is recognized and approved by the U.S. Department of Education (DoE) and Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) as a reputable, independent accrediting agency in the United States. The ACCSC was founded in 1965 and is based in Arlington, Virginia.
