About Surrey
Surrey is a county in South East England, bordered to the east by Kent, to the southeast by East Sussex, to the south by West Sussex, to the west by Hampshire, to the northwest by Berkshire, and to the northeast by Greater London. Surrey is a comparatively prosperous county. It has the most number of woods of any county in England. It has 4 horse racing tracks as well as four golf courses, along with the international competition venue at Wentworth. Surrey has few relics from the ancient British and Roman periods. There are a number of round and bell barrows in different places, most of which date from the Bronze Age.
