And as the established major players and ambitious start-ups continue to develop and expand the landscape, so a ‘digital skills gap’ has appeared, both in the UK and internationally.This course aims to help fill that gap by providing you with the knowledge and expertise you will need to make an impact in this rapidly expanding global industry.There are six entry points through the year. This allows you to start when it is most suitable.Why choose this course?How will I be assessed?The intensive character of this Courses delivery as it is outlined in its Teaching and Learning philosophy is consistent with the needs of todays world for graduates who accumulate knowledge fast and are able to express the outcome of this process in a way that is meaningful and comprehensive. After induction, a week of intensive direct contact time followed by your own contribution through individual learning, will take you to your first assessment point. At the end of your six-week block, your final assessment will be due. This will be a demanding but very rewarding experience.

AboutThe University of Bedfordshire is a public university situated in Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, England. The university has roots from 1882, however, it gained university status in 1992 as University of Luton. Then changed the name to the University of Bedfordshire in 2006 by the approval of the Privy Council by merging the University of Luton and the Bedford campus of De Montfort University.
The university is sprawled across six campuses; there are 4 campuses in Bedfordshire, in Luton and Bedford, 2 campuses in Buckinghamshire, in Aylesbury (for the students of Midwifery and Nursing) and in Milton Keynes (for business studies, telecommunications and electronic engineering). The university had entered the Research Assessment Exercise in 2008 and had achieved a GPA of 2.087 with 34.7 percent internationally.

Our Luton campus is located right in the heart of the town centre boasting our brand-new STEM Building, seven-storey Library and Postgraduate & CPD Centre, as well as an array of fantastic modern facilities to support each of the courses on offer. These include the Media Arts Centre hosting our broadcast television and digital radio studios, extensive STEM Laboratories & Workshops, a Moot Court, Business Pods, Healthcare Simulation Suites and our Campus Gym. For our Art & Design students we have the Alexon Building - a former fashion house based in the centre of Lutons Cultural Quarter, which contains studio space spanning across three floors with each course having their own designated areas including the fashion and photography studios. At the heart of our Luton campus is the Campus Centre where alongside a large lecture theatre and study rooms you can find our Careers Centre, Student Information Desk and other Student Support Services. It is also the place to build your social life, with Café Neo and our Students’ Union in the Metro Bar & Kitchen, home to Starbucks Coffee and a range of tasty food & drink while hosting regular live music, DJ nights and student events.
