About the course
The course offers a thorough grounding in the major branches of Civil Engineering with a strong emphasis on the aspects most relevant to the practice of Structural Engineering and its interface with Architectural Design. The aim is to produce high quality structural engineers who have an understanding of architecture and an appreciation of the role of architects in the design process, through working with practising engineers and architects. An unrivalled range of specialist options is available in Year 5 and students complete a professional design project. All Structural Engineering courses are supported by the Civil Engineering Industry Advisory Committee, which includes representatives from major multi-national employers offering advice, guidance and work placement opportunities.Intake Months
