About the course
This highly selective program is comprised of motivated students from the Music, Art & Design, and Media, Journalism & Film departments. Students are introduced to all areas of the program, then specialize in one. Throughout tight bonds are formed between students as they work closely and intensely in creative teams. As a culminating experience, seniors collaborate for two semesters with other EA students to create an original, professional-quality project. Many of these senior thesis projects go on to win international and national awards.In the past, these projects have taken many forms, including narrative animations, computer and mobile platform games, enhanced music CDs, music videos, interactive experiences, websites, dramatic films, and commercials featuring state-of-the-art special effects. If you can imagine it, you can make it in the Electronic Arts program.The collaborative nature of the program, the quality of the students and faculty, state-of-the-art facilities, and the chance to work on a creative year-long senior thesis project are all key attributes to the success of the Electronic Arts Program.
