About the course
If you complete Part III of the BFA side of your BA/BFA conjoint with an average grade of B or higher, you are eligible to apply for entry into the BA/BFA(Hons). The BA/BFA(Hons) builds upon the practical and theoretical elements developed across Part I, Part II and Part III of the BFA. You will explore an area of interest, expressed through your chosen media and honed through critical thinking, seminars and critiques of your research and your output. Art History examines the many roles the visual arts have played in different cultures and in different periods — aesthetic, social, religious, political and commercial. You can explore not only painting, drawing and sculpture, but also architecture, photography, video, performance art, design and the graphic and decorative arts.
