About the course
At Keele, studying a combined honours degree will include some modules from both of the single honours degrees. In this case, your programme will be made up of a combination of modules from both Business Management and Human Geography. You will reflect critically on what you learn about business and understand the applications and possibilities Human Geography provides in solving problems, creating wealth and improving quality of life. You will focus on independent thinking and will examine where business comes into contact with social-scientific and philosophical disciplines. For the Human Geography element of the course you’ll collect and analyse spatial, social and environmental data, and become familiar with industry standard GIS software for analysing, visualising and integrating that data. Fieldwork is an integral component of the course and there are no cost options for our overseas field trips. You will also have the option to enhance your employability by studying abroad or taking a placement year between years two and three of your studies. Optional sandwich year, Optional year abroad, placement year available.
