About the course
Our way of communicating, thinking and feeling is characterised by digital, interactive and time-based media. Being able to professionally develop and design within this multidisciplinary creative field is one of the most exciting and forward-looking contemporary activities. In the Film + Motion Design course you will be part of these innovative developments.%0A%0AIn the practice-oriented (BA) Film + Motion Design programme, you will get to know fundamental methods, concepts and techniques for the design of time-based media. From camera work and sound design, analog stop-motion animation, CGI and 3D modelling to digital compositing, hybrid film and visual music, the course offers a wide range of creative expression. In this course you will learn the various methods and techniques of time-based media exclusively from renowned lecturers creative industry. For the realisation of your project ideas you can use the professional equipment, audio and video hardware, post-production and animation software at our university. The University of Europe for Applied Sciences, shortened as UE, is a private, for-profit university in Germany with its main campus and administrative headquarters in Iserlohn and two further campuses in Berlin and Hamburg.It was formed in 2017 as the University of Applied Sciences Europe by a merger of the Business and Information Technology School and the Berliner Technische Kunsthochschule. The university was previously owned by the American company Laureate Education and was acquired by Global University Systems in 2018. In October 2020, the university changed its name to University of Europe for Applied Sciences.
