This bespoke top up course is for you if you have completed a related foundation degree or HND and wish to gain a full bachelor’s degree in one year.You will gain deeper understanding of sport science and personal training as well as relevant experience through work placements/internships at sports organisations, schools and within a personal training environment, preparing you for a successful career. By linking closely to your previous studies and work experience it provides seamless progression to university-level study with the added benefit of a targeted initial induction and a week-long summer school to help support your academic development.

About
The University of Bedfordshire is a public university situated in Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, England. The university has roots from 1882, however, it gained university status in 1992 as University of Luton. Then changed the name to the University of Bedfordshire in 2006 by the approval of the Privy Council by merging the University of Luton and the Bedford campus of De Montfort University.
The university is sprawled across six campuses; there are 4 campuses in Bedfordshire, in Luton and Bedford, 2 campuses in Buckinghamshire, in Aylesbury (for the students of Midwifery and Nursing) and in Milton Keynes (for business studies, telecommunications and electronic engineering). The university had entered the Research Assessment Exercise in 2008 and had achieved a GPA of 2.087 with 34.7 percent internationally.

The Bedford campus has lots of green open spaces while being very close to Bedford town centre and local amenities. It boasts our Gateway building, a three-storey building that offers high-quality teaching spaces, informal learning spaces, lecture theatres and a new student services centre. In the Campus Centre you can find both of the campus Theatres as well as the main campus Café while in the surrounding buildings you can find our Physical Education and Sport Science Centre which was used to train athletes in the 2012 Olympics, Teacher Education Centre, four dance studios, campus gym, our four-storey campus library and a newly refurbished Students Union social space that holds a variety of student events such as pub quizzes, live music and various themed club nights.
